How to report inappropriate behavior

TeachMe.To takes reports of unsafe, inappropriate, discriminatory, or unprofessional conduct seriously. If something makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please follow the steps below. Your safety comes first.


1. If Anyone Is in Immediate Danger

Call local emergency services first.

TeachMe.To is not an emergency service, and your personal safety always takes priority over any platform report.

After you are safe, you can notify TeachMe.To.


2. Report the Incident to TeachMe.To Support

You can reach Support through:

  • The in-app Help / Support option
  • Email: support@teachme.to
  • Text message: 650-900-3835(as listed in our Terms)

To help us understand the situation, please share as many details as you can safely provide.


3. What Information to Include in Your Report

When submitting a report, include any details you feel comfortable sharing, such as:

  • Names of the individuals involved
  • Date, time, and location of the incident
  • Description of what happened
  • Screenshots, messages, photos, or other evidence (if available)

You never need to confront the other person or contact them directly. Support will handle the next steps.


4. What TeachMe.To May Do

Depending on the report and Terms violations, TeachMe.To may:

  • Review and investigate the incident
  • Suspend, restrict, or remove a Coach or Student’s access if they pose a safety risk or violate the Terms (see §§15.3, 5.8.4)
  • Cancel upcoming lessons or bookings when appropriate under our safety and enforcement policies
  • Take additional steps required to protect our community

Actions are taken based on the severity of the behavior and consistency with the Terms of Service.


5. Important Notes

  • TeachMe.To cannot pre-screen all messages or interactions (Terms limitation).
  • We are not an emergency service. Always contact local authorities in urgent situations.
  • All reports are reviewed seriously, and actions may include temporary suspension, permanent removal, or booking cancellations when warranted.
  • Inappropriate or harmful behavior is not tolerated on the platform.
