TeachMe.To is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both Students and Coaches. When using the platform or participating in lessons, all users agree to the following standards, consistent with our Terms of Service.

If you ever experience unsafe, inappropriate, or harmful behavior, please follow the reporting steps in our How to report inappropriate behavior article—and contact local authorities first in any emergency.


1. Treat Others With Respect

Everyone using TeachMe.To must uphold a respectful, inclusive environment.

Required Conduct
  • Be courteous and professional in all interactions—both in the app and in person.
  • No harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats.
  • No abusive, offensive, or degrading language or behavior.
Prohibited Discrimination

No discriminatory conduct or content based on:

  • Race
  • Gender
  • Sex
  • Sexual orientation
  • Religion
  • Nationality
  • Disability
  • Age
  • Any other protected characteristic

2. Follow Lesson Rules and Safety Instructions

Students Must:
  • Follow your Coach’s safety guidance and any facility rules.
  • Meet age, fitness, or skill requirements where applicable.
  • Inform your Coach about medical conditions, injuries, limitations, or anything that could affect your participation.

Coaches Must:
  • Clearly communicate lesson expectations, rules, and any safety requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, appropriate environment.
  • Ensure the teaching space is suitable for the activity.

3. Maintain Professional Boundaries (Coaches)

Coaches hold a position of authority and must act professionally at all times.

Coaches must:

  • Maintain respectful, appropriate, and professional communication.
  • Never make suggestive, sexual, or inappropriate comments or gestures.
  • Avoid unsolicited physical contact; if a demonstration requires touch, explain it first and receive clear consent.
  • Respect physical, personal, and emotional boundaries.
  • Never use the Coach role to pursue personal relationships, favors, or off-platform contact unrelated to the lesson.

4. Use the Platform Appropriately

All communication and bookings must stay on the TeachMe.To platform.

Prohibited Behaviors
  • Moving bookings off-platform to avoid fees
  • Sharing external payment methods
  • Spamming or abusive messaging
  • Attempting to scrape, hack, or misuse data
  • Posting harmful, obscene, or misleading content

5. Understand Risk and Your Responsibilities

Sports and activities include inherent risks. By booking or coaching, you acknowledge and assume those risks and are responsible for determining whether a lesson is appropriate for you or any minors under your supervision.

6. Consequences for Violations

TeachMe.To may take action when safety, professionalism, or platform integrity is at risk.

Possible actions include:

  • Removing a listing from search
  • Restricting booking ability
  • Temporarily suspending an account
  • Permanently removing an account
  • Canceling upcoming lessons
  • Notifying relevant authorities (in serious cases)

Violations include unsafe conduct, harassment, discrimination, inappropriate behavior, boundary violations, or Terms violations.
