Our policies are designed to be clear and consistent. Below is a plain-language summary; for full details, see Student Terms §2.
- 24-Hour Full Refund (from time of booking)
- You can receive a full refund if:
- You cancel within 24 hours of booking, and
- Your lesson is not scheduled to occur within the next 24 hours.
- You can receive a full refund if:
- After 24 Hours from Booking
- If you cancel more than 24 hours before your lesson time, your payment typically becomes lesson credit (not cash) that can be used for future lessons and is valid for 12 months from the original purchase date.
- Credits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations Within 24 Hours of the Lesson
- If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson, the lesson is generally non-refundable, and you may be charged the full lesson fee plus any applicable reservation fees.
- Rescheduling
- If you reschedule more than 24 hours before the lesson, there is no additional rescheduling fee, although any non-refundable location reservation fees may still apply.
- Rescheduling within 24 hours of the lesson time is treated like a late cancellation and may result in being charged the full lesson amount (plus any reservation fees), per §2.2.
- Lesson Credits, Single Lessons & Packs
- Single lessons, lesson packs, and credits are generally valid for 12 months from the original purchase date.
- You can usually reschedule or transfer these to another coach or skill, but they keep their original monetary value.
- Any unused credits expire after 12 months. (See Terms §2.2.)
- Unsatisfactory Lesson or Lesson Quality Issues
- If your first lesson didn’t meet expectations, please contact support within 24 hours of the lesson. We can discuss a refund or help you find a better-fit coach, consistent with our Terms.
- Issues with rescheduling or concerns about lesson quality generally need to be reported within 24 hours of the lesson to be considered for a refund or other resolution. Requests made after that window are not usually eligible. (See Terms §2.1.)
- Subscriptions (Student Terms §2.3)
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew every 4 weeks until you cancel.
- Cancelling a subscription: You can cancel anytime to stop future renewals; cancellation takes effect on the next renewal date. Past renewals are generally non-refundable.
- Unused subscription lessons: Unused lesson credits after cancellation are typically valid for 12 months, after which they expire.
- Gift cards & subscriptions: Gift cards can be used toward subscription payments, but once the gift card is exhausted, ongoing renewal charges are your responsibility and are not refundable.
- “First free lesson” subscriptions: If you don’t cancel within 24 hours of the free lesson, the first paid month is automatically charged and is non-refundable. Late cancellation/no-show for the free lesson may result in being charged the standard lesson rate.
For any edge cases, students can contact support, and we’ll review the situation in line with Section 2 (Student Terms) and, where relevant, Section 6 (Coach cancellations).
