TeachMe.To allows you to manage and cancel lessons directly in the app. Before you cancel, it’s important to understand how the 24-hour policy works and when you’re eligible to receive a lesson credit.
Cancelling 24+ Hours Before Your Lesson
If you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled lesson:
- ✔️ You receive a full lesson credit
- ✔️ No cancellation fees
- ✔️ You can use the credit to book a new lesson with your coach at any time
This is the best option if your plans change unexpectedly.
Cancelling Within 24 Hours of the Lesson
If your cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the lesson start time:
- ❌ You are not eligible for a reimbursement or credit
- 💳 You will be charged the full lesson fee, plus any applicable reservation fees
- 📄 This follows TeachMe.To Terms (§2.2)
Coaches reserve this time for you, and short-notice cancellations make it difficult for them to fill the slot.
How to Cancel a Lesson (Step-by-Step)
- Open your TeachMe.To app.
- Go to the Home tab.
- Select the upcoming lesson you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel.
- Choose Cancel and bank this lesson.
- Your lesson credit will be reinstated to its original form so you can reschedule whenever you’re ready.
If your cancellation occurs within the 24-hour window, you’ll see a notice explaining that the lesson is not eligible for credit.
What Happens After You Cancel?
- Your coach will be notified automatically.
- Credits issued within policy will appear in the Schedule tab.
- You can book your next lesson immediately using your reinstated credit.
